A few weeks back I took a little drive around the country with my good friend Kyle, searching for a suitable spot to shoot his bagged mk4 Volkswagen R32 which was recently fitted with some super clean Klutch SL14’s. We came across this abandoned campus of buildings which seemed to be some sort of boarding school or something at one point. Either way, it made for a great backdrop to shoot the handsome beast. Take a look at the photos below then head over to the full set, HERE.
One of the best things about the car scene is the friends you make, from forums to meets the scene brings together like minded people with common interests. Since my early days in the car and motorcycle scene I have made countless friends that will surely be in my life for forever, including some of my best friends that I see on the daily. Below is a photo of my good friend Kyle and his bagged Volkswagen R32 on Klutch S14 wheels pulling out of my driveway while my static Subaru Outback looks on. Stay tuned for some more photos of Kyle’s car, which is seems I have forgotten to post!
I have posted here and there about my car but now seems like a good time for an update so here goes. I have made a few changes over the last couple of months that have drastically changed the look of my car, so instead of boring everyone with that I will just post photos. Enjoy!
Way back in June 2011 when I purchased the car:
As I mentioned in some previous posts, I spend the last weekend in Richmond for some other projects, so when I was just hanging around and just so happened to have all of my camera gear I figured I would shoot a text to my good buddy Chris Semptek to see if he wanted to shoot his car real quick. Over the last few weeks I have been spending time down in Richmond and every time I leave the house I come across no less than a bakers dozen sick spots for shooting, whether it be cars or people, so since we were already downtown for an art show I decided that this new piece on the side of the Canal Club was a perfect location to shoot.
Check out the photo below and feel free to set it as your desktop background! The wall was painted by the incredible artist, Nick Kuszyk and you can see more of his work by clicking, HERE.
I just finished another video from Wekfest IV in San Francisco and thought that my readers should be the first to see it! This video originally started as just a short clip of the first interview but at only fifteen seconds I felt something was missing. Enter several clips that I shot while walking around at Fort Mason and a track that I looped myself from one of my favorite artists, The Blue Scholars! Take a look below and let me know what you think!
