Last night we had the awesome opportunity to see G-Eazy play at Jammin’ Java in Vienna, VA and because of our excellent vantage point I decided to drag my camera in from the car. I’ve gotta tell you, the low light capabilities of my 5d mark 3 over my 5d mark 2 are incredible. I shot the photo you see below with available light at 10,000 ISO, something that would have been impossible with previous models, so big ups to Canon for making those changes! If you like what you see, you can see the full set by clicking, HERE.

When it comes to taking your wardrobe to the next level, monogramming is a simple, and most importantly, cheap way to step your game. I think by this point if you are reading my blog you already know my love for all things J Crew, so when I received this excellent email regarding monogramming, I knew I had to share. Take a look at the image below and when you are ready to move from ashy to classy, just click HERE.

An unexpected day off and unseasonably warm weather in the district spawned a super fun trip to the DC National Zoo last week! So on Wednesday morning we grabbed some coffee and headed into the city and found the zoo to be almost completely empty! We wandered for over three hours, seeing all of the exhibits and taking tons of photos, which can all be seen, here. We even got a super rad behind the scenes look at the Bird House, where we met a baby flamingo named Watson! Do yourself a favor on the next warm day, check out the zoo hours HERE and head on down!
Me and our baby flamingo friend, Watson!
Roar!
